Celebrating the Opening of the Legal Year 2025 in the Turks and Caicos Islands

The Legal Year 2025 in the Turks and Caicos Islands was celebrated with pomp and pageantry, commencing with a full day of events. The day began with a vibrant procession where the entire legal fraternity and its stakeholders marched from the Supreme Court building to the Anglican church for the official church services to mark the opening of the legal year with prayers and blessings. This was followed by a luncheon hosted by Her Ladyship Chief Justice Agyemang. The day culminated with the annual Sir Richard Ground Lecture and Gala Dinner, featuring a distinguished guest speaker Prof. Barber of Oxford University and celebrating the contributions of legal professionals to the islands.
