Tawana Kennedy, a Turks and Caicos Islander whose entire family hails from the small island of Salt Cay is devoted to her role as Head of Debt Collection Services Ltd. F Chambers’ sister company; and took the motto of helping each Turks & Caicos Islander to become financially better off from Retail Banking to Debt Recovery.
Tawana holds a Degree in Business Studies along with 8 and a half years’ experience in Retail and Commercial Banking. During the course of her employment at Scotiabank Turks & Caicos Ltd, her skills expanded and she served as an exalted Personal Banking Representative, International Service Ambassador, who was well renowned for her dependable work ethics.
She was skillfully trained as a Cross Border Site Adjustor in the Collections Department at Scotia, and over the years completed certification in Anti Money Laundering, and Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) Training.
Tawana has experience in Confidential Legal Service, Repossession, Debt Administration and Reporting. Her collections experience and communications with other agencies and local law firms convinced us there are many ways of collecting debt.
Undoubtedly, she is no stranger to hard work and dedication, having been awarded many accolades in her Banking Profession, such as receiving Top Customer Service Award for the 2013 Fiscal Year, Top Service Provider Quarters 1 and 4 2014, and Top Refer 2008 – 2013.
Tawana is a citizen of distinction in the community as she finds the time to give back through her commitment to the Rotary family from 2008 to present and through other Civic Organizations like the Young Corporate Alliance in which she serves as Director of Events, the aim of the organization being to impact the Youth of the Turks & Caicos Islands.
